User course for Operations Manager (in Guideline 005 basic course)
Course description
Theoretical review of Guideline 005 basic module and review of the following types of systems and self-control of the same: automatic fire detection system (AFA), automatic warning system (AAS/IAS), automatic thermal smoke ventilation system (AFV-T), automatic water sprinkler system (AWS), (AFDC), and system integration test (SIT).
The operations manager will gain knowledge of correct operation and maintenance of the systems and will thus be equipped to handle the daily operation according to the new guidelines from the approved inspection company.
Target group
Persons who, in their daily work, are responsible for one or more of the above-mentioned system types.

· Briefing on the background of the course
· Popular fire theory
· Why do fires occur?
· How do we avoid fires?
· How do we limit fire damage?
· Why do we have fire protection systems?
· How do fire protection systems work?
· Instruction in the use of system orientation plans
· Response in case of fire protection system failure
· Response in case of alarm from fire protection systems
· Responsibilities and duties of the operations manager
· Practical exercises
